Role Summary

• Efficient Junk Removal: Safely and efficiently remove unwanted items from clients' homes, offices, or construction sites, according to Silverhull standards and in accordance with state and local laws

• Client-Focused Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience by addressing client needs and concerns.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to complete jobs quickly and effectively. Support recruiting of new team members and promote company values

• Recycling and Repurposing: Sort through collected items to identify materials that can be recycled or repurposed, supporting Silverhull’s commitment to sustainability.

• Job Site Clean-Up: Ensure the client’s property is left clean and organized after junk removal.

• Vehicle Maintenance: Help operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are kept in good working order.

• Problem Solving: Adapt to challenges on the job, such as tight spaces or unexpected items, and find creative solutions.

• Community Contribution: Help reduce waste in San Antonio by diverting reusable items from landfills and contributing to local recycling efforts.

Qualifications

• Customer Service Skills: Positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service to clients is a must in this customer-facing role

• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (50-75 lbs) repeatedly and work in physically demanding conditions.

• Valid Driver's License: Clean driving record and ability to operate company vehicles safely (CDL is a plus but not required).

• Own a mobile phone: own a reliable mobile phone which can be used for communication during working hours

• Saturday Availability: availability to work full time, including Saturdays

• Problem-Solving Ability: Resourceful and adaptable in overcoming challenges on the job.

• Attention to Detail: Ability to leave job sites clean and organized while following company procedures.

• Basic Communication Skills: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions, and communicate effectively with clients and team members.

• High School Diploma or GED: Preferred but not required; equivalent experience is acceptable.

• Willingness to Learn: Openness to training and following safety protocols, including the proper handling of equipment and materials.

• Team Player: Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues.

• Reliable and Punctual: Strong work ethic with a focus on punctuality and dependability.

Compensation: $17-30/hr
